Getting Started on Rumble

Writer: Lumpy PotatoLumpy Potato

Welcome to Rumble! This is my first detailed post, so please bear with me if it's rough. I wanted to provide more information about the stream for those who prefer reading or following along. Let's get started!

Rumble Company Break-down:

Rumble Cloud - Server Hosting Services

Rumble Video - Video Streaming Platform

Rumble Studio - Streaming Browser App

How can I watch Rumble?

  1. Browser

  2. iOS

  3. Andriod

  4. Smart TV (Apple TV, Roku, etc.)

  5. Xbox

So there is no doubt that Rumble has been getting a lot more attention and seekers recently, as you can see in the latest public release. 58 Million Monthly Active Users is impressive, and on top of that, 10.7 Billion Minutes Watched Monthly. Once again, there are no YouTube numbers, but they are growing steadily, and once the apps get updated, viewing numbers will undoubtedly be boosted. It is essential to see how many devices Rumble is available on; as a creator, it makes me happy that my viewers can enjoy a stream on any device.

Rumble's Homepage

This page has been reborn in the last few months with many changes and updates. As the platform keeps growing, they keep adding and keeping things fresh. I would love to see this all streamlined on all apps to make it seamless.

Please Note: You can NOT CHANGE your USERNAME once created.

How to Sign up & Verify Account

The sign-up process is designed to be simple and user-friendly. As outlined below, only basic information is needed to create an account. Please be aware that your username cannot be changed once you select it, so choose wisely. You can sign up using your Facebook, Google, or Apple account. Additionally, providing your address is not mandatory if you prefer not to share it. This straightforward process is aimed at making your experience as smooth as possible.

Please note that you must provide a cell phone number for SMS verification.

Account Verification

  • Uploaded Video & Use Livestreaming

  • Make Money and Cash Out Your Earnings

  • Leave Comments on Videos

  • Vote for Videos and Comment

Verifying your account is crucial before you can fully utilize Rumble's features. These include uploading a video, using live streaming, earning money, leaving comments, and voting for videos. So, make sure to verify your account to unlock these capabilities.

This step is essential for you to make the most of your Rumble experience.

Setting up a Stream

To start streaming, click "Go Live" in the top right corner of the screen. You will be prompted to enter your stream information, so complete each box. Consider this your digital real estate.

Thumbnail design is essential because it represents your brand and vibe, so ensure it flows well with your content. A placeholder video is a looped video that plays while your stream is awaiting start. It shows viewers something until you begin streaming.

Tags are useful for content discovery, as they help with search results. I hope to see more people take advantage of this feature.

Finally, make sure to set your stream's visibility correctly. If you are testing a stream, you should start with a private setting so it won't be visible to anyone else.
